Ultrahand

Updated 2026-10-16· Patch 1.2.1Zonai, Build

Ultrahand picks up almost anything that is not nailed down, moves it, and sticks two objects together. It is the building ability from the Great Sky Island onward. A steering stick, wheels and a fan are enough for a car. Rockets and balloons are enough for a lift. The battery, not your stamina, is what limits how long a machine runs.

Glue a thing that moves

Take devices out of zonai capsules and drop them on the ground. Grab one with Ultrahand, carry it into another until the glue mark appears, and let go. A platform plus two wheels plus a steering stick is the first car. A platform plus two fans plus a steering stick is the hover bike people use between sky islands. The fans drink the battery. The car drinks less and hates hills.

Devices from capsules are spent when you take them out. When the build despawns, you do not get the capsule back. Save the rockets for launches you cannot do with a fan, and save the balloon for a straight vertical climb. A flame emitter under a balloon keeps it up. A rocket on a shield is a different trick and belongs to Fuse, not to a permanent car.

Battery and Autobuild

Energy wells and crystallized charges expand the cell. Forges in the abandoned mines of the Depths turn zonaite into charges. Frox ore, soldier constructs and rock walls are the sources. A bigger cell is what makes a fan bike useful instead of a machine that dies over the first gap. Build the battery before you build a habit of crossing Hyrule in the air.

Autobuild comes from Josha at Lookout Landing, after you follow her quest into the Great Abandoned Central Mine. It saves a favorite build and recreates it. Missing parts are filled with zonaite, so a cheap car you actually like is better than a huge machine you cannot afford to reprint. Ultrahand can still pull a build apart if you glued the fan on backwards.
