Path of Legends Meta Report: Mid-October 2026
On Path of Legends this month, Evolved Mortar with Cannon Cart is the most copied shell. Behind it sit Goblin Barrel bait and low-cost Rune Giant cycle.
What is most played
Evo Mortar Cart variants sit at the top of popular ranked lists. Some lists swap Minions for Goblin Gang to lean harder into bait. The shared idea is the same: siege plus cheap spell bait.
Hero Knight Log Bait rose after the Barrel buff. Top ladder players still prefer Inferno Tower over Tesla when Golem and Giant Skeleton bridgespam appear in the same session.
Rune Giant with Evo Cannon and Evo Bats keeps showing in the top fifty last-played decks. It is not always the highest win-rate sample, but it is a real ladder pick when you want low elixir and constant chip.
What to prepare for
Practice answering Mortar without emptying your whole hand. Keep a plan for Cannon Cart on the bridge. Against bait, decide before the match whether your small spell is for Barrel or for Princess.
If your main deck loses hard to both siege and bait, keep a second deck. Mid-season Path of Legends rewards players who can swap after two quick losses more than players who force one archetype forever.
