Supercell finalized the Season 87 balance adjustments on September 6, 2026. The patch shifts focus away from heavy beatdown toward control strategies by nerfing Goblin Giant and slightly widening Poison's radius.
Goblin Giant Speed Nerf
Goblin Giant's movement speed has been reduced by 7%. This allows defenders and building pull targets more time to react and mount solid counters.
In addition to movement speed, his base health was trimmed by 3%. This makes the necessary damage output for a full defense slightly lower, enabling lightweight units like Tombstone or Evolved Bats to clear him smoothly on your side.
Poison and Utility Swaps
The radius of Poison has been marginally widened, allowing it to punish back-line supporting glass cannons more reliably, altering traditional positioning.
