The indie card game Balatro has had its PEGI rating reduced to 12 after an appeal to the Pan European Game Information organization. The previous rating of 18+ was due to a perceived connection to gambling, but this has been overturned following a reassessment. The change in rating also applies to Luck Be a Landlord, a similar game inspired by Balatro.
