Elden Ring's Nightreign Network Test: PC Players Left Out, Servers Struggle During Initial Session

Despite the exclusion of PC players, the Elden Ring Nightreign network test has faced significant technical issues since its launch.

Scheduled for a series of three-hour intervals until February 17th, the first session on February 12th concluded with widespread reports of login errors and server malfunctions.

The official Elden Ring support Twitter account acknowledged the issue within an hour of the session's start, attributing it to "high traffic" and announcing a server restart. However, the restart did little to resolve the problems.

Many players struggled to connect to the game, encountering repeated login errors and being forced back to the title screen. Reddit forums were filled with users expressing frustration and memes mocking the server issues.

FromSoftware apologized for the inconvenience and announced that the first session would proceed as scheduled but with improvements being made. The company also hinted at the possibility of an additional test session.

Despite the technical issues, some players managed to successfully join the test and engage in multiplayer battles. However, the majority of hopeful participants were left disappointed.

The situation has been frustrating for both players and FromSoftware, with players unable to experience the test and the developer facing server stability issues.

With the next session scheduled for an inconvenient time in certain regions, players will need to wait and hope that FromSoftware resolves the problems before the test comes to PC.
