Wizzrobe
Wizzrobes do not hold a camp and do not drop a horn. They appear, throw fire, ice, or lightning, and disappear. The compendium writes 无 in the material cell for every robe, including the senior meteo, blizzard, and thunder robes. You fight them to stop the spell, not to farm a part.

Shoot the gap between blinks
A Wizzrobe is solid for a short beat after it appears and before it throws. That is the shot. Chasing the afterimage wastes the swing, because the body is already gone. A spear fusion with reach covers the gap better than running in with a one-handed sword.
Fire burns, ice freezes, and shock drops the metal in your hands. Put the metal shield away before you walk into a thunder or electric robe. Holding block does not stop the status. Step off the line of the spell, then shoot.
Junior robes and senior robes
Fire, ice, and electric are the junior three. Meteo, blizzard, and thunder are the senior three, and the spell is wider. The senior ones are written into higher country: Gerudo Highlands for meteo and blizzard, East Necluda and Lanayru Great Spring for thunder. The body still has no drop.
If a robe is standing over a camp, kill it before you walk into the Bokoblins, or you will eat a spell while you are busy with the horn. They do not pick up your dropped weapons the way a Bokoblin does. Once the robe is down, it stays down until the Blood Moon.
