Boss Bokoblin
A Boss Bokoblin is the large red, blue, black or silver leader standing in the middle of a camp. It has far more health than the Bokoblins around it, and the horn it drops is one of the best early fuses in the game. Clear the small ones first, or the leader will keep calling them into the fight.

Fight the leader, not the whole camp
The leader slams the ground and the shockwave knocks you over if you stand in front of it. Jump as the weapon comes down, or stay at the side and shoot the horn. A headshot staggers it the same way it staggers a normal Bokoblin, and that is your window to run in.
The small Bokoblins join as soon as the leader roars. If you have a bomb flower, use it on the cluster before you focus the big one. Do not climb the leader. It shakes you off and the slam will catch you on the way down. A spear or a fused stick lets you hit the horn without standing in the shockwave.
What the horn is for
Fuse the horn to a one-handed weapon if you want a reliable sword, or to a spear if you want reach. The silver leader's horn is the one to save for a weapon you actually like. Fangs and guts from the same body are elixir parts. The camp chest behind the leader is often better than the small drops, so open it before you leave.
These leaders come back with the Blood Moon, in the same camps. Once you can beat a black one cleanly, start visiting silver camps on purpose. A single silver horn replaces a pocket full of red ones. In the Depths the same leaders show up along the roads between lightroots, so bring a brightbloom before you look for the campfire.
