Moblin
Moblins are the large fighters in Bokoblin camps and along mountain roads. They carry spears and heavy weapons, and they will pick up a Bokoblin and throw it at you. The horn is a strong fuse for two-handed weapons. Treat the Moblin as the dangerous one in the camp, and the Bokoblins as the things it throws.

Stay out of the throw
When it reaches down toward a Bokoblin, move sideways. The thrown body knocks you over and the Moblin is already walking in behind it. A spear thrust has long reach, so backflipping a horizontal swing is safer than standing in front and blocking with a weak shield. Shoot the head to stagger it, then get two hits and leave before the spear comes back.
Blue, black and silver Moblins add health and better horns, not new moves. Silver ones drop a gem and carry the camp's best weapon. If the camp also has a Boss Bokoblin, kill the Moblin first. The leader's shockwave plus a thrown Bokoblin is how these camps wipe a low-health run. Bomb flowers are worth it here.
The horn and the spear
A Moblin horn on a two-handed weapon hits harder than a Bokoblin horn and swings slower. Use it on enemies that sit still after a headshot, such as a Hinox or a Talus ore, not on a Lizalfos that hops away. The spear a Moblin drops is often worth more as a base weapon than the horn is as a fuse, so pick up the spear before you leave.
They return with the Blood Moon. Mountain roads in Hebra and the lanes under the castle are reliable places once you want black horns. In the Depths, listen for the heavy step before you spend your last brightbloom. A Moblin in the dark will throw something you cannot see yet.
