Stone Talus

업데이트 2026-10-15· 버전 1.6.0Giant, Ore

A Stone Talus stands up out of a pile of rocks when you walk over it. The ore node on the top is the only place normal weapons do real damage. Everything else is just scratching stone.

Get onto the node

A bomb, an arrow or a spear thrown into the ore node staggers it and it falls forward. Climb immediately and swing a two-handed weapon. Iron sledgehammers and cobble crushers chew the node faster than swords. You will be shaken off. Repeat until it breaks.

The arm slam is slow and vertical. If you are on the ground, run toward the heel rather than away. Away is where the fist lands. A perfect guard on the slam also staggers it if you cannot find a safe climb.

Rare, luminous, igneo and frost

Rare Stone Talus nodes drop rubies, sapphires and topaz along with flint and amber. Luminous ones at night drop luminous stone, which is what you trade in Zora's Domain and use for light.

Igneo Taluses on Death Mountain are too hot to climb until you have fireproof armor or an elixir. Use ice arrows, or a blizzard rod, to cool the body before you climb. Frost Taluses in Hebra are the reverse: a fire weapon or a fire arrow makes the node safe to stand on. Bring a sledgehammer either way. A sword spends its durability on the node and still loses.
